Eibach—The Will To Win

Corona, Calif. (October 27, 2010) — Team Aon concluded the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship by capturing two championship trophies; one for the Independents Team Trophy and one for the Independents Driver Trophy.

A sunshine-filled course at Brands Hatch filled the day, but during Race One a gearbox failure on lap nine struck Tom Onslow-Cole which ended his championship contention; however, his teammate Tom Chilton recovered from a horrible start of the race to finish in the seventh position in which he gained much needed championship points.

Celebrating win

The second race of the day saw both Team Aon cars with successful starts, it was the same story for Onslow-Cole though, but this time with a hydraulics failure on lap 11, which ended this race early for him.  Chilton was able to finish in the fifth position, which was enough points to secure the Independents Team Trophy.

The final race of the day and the season was a nerve-wracking experience as the Independents Team Trophy was on the line and Chilton was able to collect a podium finish which secured the trophy for the Independents Driver Title.

Congratulations to Team Aon and Chilton on the accomplishments for the 2010 season!

Formula 3 Euro Series

The Formula 3 Euro Series concluded along with the Germany DTM finale at Hockenheim on October 17.

Terry Phillips was thankful that this year he didn't have to deal with any last-lap surprise of Jason Hughes at Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota. As a restart occurred on lap 19, Phillips drove around Tommy Myer, who had led circuits 3-19, to take the official lead on lap 20. Phillips then stayed out front for the remainder of the race to collect the preliminary night payday and trophy that Hughes stole from him on the finale night in 2009; Lucas Schott of Chatfield, Minn., won the Eibach Springs-sponsored fourth heat race.

USMTS

The MotoPark Academy team, which has produced some of the best young drivers in the past couple years, added another rookie title of the series to its belt.  Young Portuguese driver António Félix Da Costa captured the rookie of the year honors by finishing fourth and ninth in order to clinch the nobility.

However on Sunday, even though it wasn't the bigger payday of the weekend, Phillips did land back in victory lane and managed to take home a total of $9,300 over the course of three days, but that was nothing as to what Hughes took home as he captured his first USMTS National Championship and $21,200 for his championship efforts; Eibach racer Ryan Gustin finished second in the championship points, 80 markers behind Hughes. Mike Steensma captured the final Eibach Springs Heat Race win of the 2010 season on Sunday, September 26.

Congratulations to MotoPark Academy and Da Costa on the honors!

Audi Motorsport

Celebrating win

Four Audi Motorsport drivers finished in the top-six, with two on the podium, at the season DTM German finale at Hockenheim.

GW:plus/Top Service Audi4 DTM driver Timo Scheider lead the group to the finish line in the second position, with the S-Line Audi driver Mike Rockenfeller tailing behind him in the third position; Red Bull Cola racer Martin Tomczyk rounded out the top-five and Tabac Original Oliver Jarvis concluded the Audi Motorsport lineup in the sixth position.

Dr. Wolfgang Ulrich, Head of Audi Motorsport, had this statement following the event, “With two cars on the front row you obviously hope for victory. We put two guys on the podium. No doubt that’s not a bad result. But Paul Di Resta was a little quicker and able to decide the race in his favor. As a team, we were strong again this weekend. We keep pursuing our aim of working hard so that we can use the next race for a victory.”

SEAT Leon Supercopa

Although no one figured the young 21-year-old would be sitting at the top of the championship points toward the beginning of the season, Sweden's Andreas Simonsen finished his season in dramatic fashion, perhaps one of the most exciting and dramatic season finales in Super Cup history. Many counted the youngster out in the beginning rounds of the series, until his latest win at the Nordschleife reinstated the skeptics of the industry of the Swede's racing ability.

Eibach Springs congratulates Simonsen and team!

Hypertech® Obtains C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-260-13 Making The Max Energy SPORT Power Programmer™ The Only 50-State, Street-Legal Tuner For Imports

Bartlett,TN – Keep it clean with Hypertech's Max Energy Sport Power Programmer. The California Air Resources Board has granted Hypertech Executive Order number D-260-13. This C.A.R.B. E.O. pertains to all 2003-2010 Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Subaru vehicles submitted by Hypertech and designates the Max Energy Sport Power Programmer is legal for sale and use on the street in all 50 states.

"From its beginning, over twenty-five years ago, Hypertech has included meeting all federal emissions standards in its product development process. This guarantees that users of Hypertech Power Tuning products will meet certification requirements when registering, selling or needing to pass various emissions tests or Inspection and Maintenance (I&M) programs administered by state or local enforcement agencies. So, on an ongoing basis, Hypertech obtains and includes C.A.R.B. E.O.'s for its emissions-related products," said Hypertech owner, Mark Heffington.

The C.A.R.B. engineering evaluation, not only performs exhaust emissions testing, but also tests products to ensure they meet at least 95% of their advertised power gains before issuing an E.O. number. Therefore the consumer can feel confident the product will perform as advertised. Mark added, "We support clean air and our optimized Power Tuning is not compromised by the fact that we only offer clean, street-legal products. We have developed tuning techniques that allow us to create optimum engine power and efficiency, without being detrimental to ambient air quality. We post our full dyno graphs on our website so our customers know exactly what power gains to expect. To our knowledge, we are the only tuning company that monitors and tunes for emissions, and supplies dyno graphs on all of our tuning products."

Hypertech's Max Energy Sport with push-button technology not only optimizes horsepower and torque but also offers specific features for your make, model and year, so you can personalize your vehicle's performance to suit specific needs or uses such as: RPM "rev" Limiter, Top-Speed Limiter, V-TEC Controller (Honda/Acura Only), 0-60 MPH Electronic Throttle Restriction, Read & Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Return To Stock Or Change Option Settings and it's Internet Updateable.
